It's the first time that I've been able to log on here, so I thought I'd try to liven it up a bit! Here's a little FUEL flavored trivia. The first person to answer (by commenting) all of the questions correctly...WINS!
Well...maybe we'll take your picture, and post it here.
It IS a pretty prestigious honor, you know!
...stop laughing...it's not nice.
OK, OK; here're the questions.
1. FUEL stands for: _____ _____ _____ _____
2. The primary source of fuel (petroleum) used in the United States (as of 2005) was what country?
3. Henry Ford's early automobile, the Model T, was able to run on either gasoline, or _______.
4. At the 1900 World's Fair, Rudolph Diesel, the inventor of the diesel engine, introduced his new engine, which ran on what fuel?
5. The pendant lights in the FUEL station have glass shades that are what color?
6. The FUEL Student Ministries logo has a man on it, doing what?
7. In 2002, in the United States alone, consumers burned: _ _ _ ,730,000,000 gallons of fuel.
8. Name two alternative fuels used in automobiles, in the United States, in production vehicles, today.
9. How many true alternatives are there to the FUEL that's distributed at the FUEL Station?
10. Name two things that were on the original FUEL Station plans/drawings that were omitted from the final space (due either to budget restrictions or design inconsistencies)?
There you go; enjoy!
(And by the way: we're glad to accept any donations to go toward some of those items that we omitted from the final incarnation of the FUEL Station!).
WAIT! There's a BONUS Question that I just thought of!
The FUEL Student Ministries logo was originally conceived by Bro. Rios and his graphic artist. Pastor and Sis. Hill, though, created an alternative logo, which was WELL-RECEIVED by all (except for Bro. Rios). The Hill's logo had a particularly memorable slogan on it. What was that slogan?
